About Ahmed Illiasu
Ahmed Illiasu brings a wealth of experience in accounting, finance operations, and community financial management to the team. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast and an HND in Accounting from Sunyani Polytechnic. He is also a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants Ghana (ICAG). Mr. Illiasu began his career as a Microfinance Officer and Marketing and Mobilization Officer at Afram Rural Bank Limited, where he played a key role in increasing community financial engagement and boosting bank deposits.
He later served as a Revenue Officer at Adabokrom Health Centre, further strengthening his expertise in financial oversight and operations. Since June 2020, Mr. Illiasu has been the Finance Officer at the Bia East District Health Directorate, where he has successfully managed finance operations and improved data integrity, resolving 30% of previously unbalanced data records. With his strong background in finance and proven ability to drive operational improvements, Mr. Illiasu adds significant value to the financial management and strategic initiatives of any organization he serves.
